Team Members - Scott A Price 
Scott Price has worked as the Executive Director of the Virginia High-Tech Partnership (VHTP) since June 1997. The VHTP links Historically Black Colleges and Universities with technology companies, government agencies and other organizations from around the country.
Scott was born in Washington, DC and raised in Mount Vernon, VA. He graduated in 1993 from the University of Virginia.After graduation, Scott joined NationsBank (now Bank of America) in their management-training program and worked in Richmond, VA; Danville, VA; and Washington, DC before joining former Virginia Governor Mark R. Warner’s organization.
Scott is currently a board member of the Southern Technology Council; City of Alexandria Commission on Information Technology; Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board; Alexandria Unity Way Regional Council; Alexandria Community Trust Advisory Board; Friends of the Carlyle House and BDPA-NOVA. He is a member of the Xi Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and serves as the Recording Secretary of his chapter. Additionally, he is the Founder and President of the Capital Investment Club and a member of the Northern Virginia Urban League.
He is married to Sonia H. Price, Esq. and they have a child, Scott A. Price II and live in Alexandria, VA.
