The Virginia High-Tech Partnership (VHTP) links students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities with corporations, high-tech firms and government agencies for internships, summer positions and full-time career opportunities.
In January 1998, former Virginia Governor Mark R. Warner created the VHTP in response to the increasing need for skilled high-tech workers.
